We exist to ease the burden of poor data sharing

Wind the clock back to 2015. Eightwire's founders were half-way through a 12 month business intelligence project integrating over 40 data feeds sourced from CSV and spreadsheets.

The project was plagued with human errors and changes by external providers that made progress slow, if not impossible. They kept coming back to the same question: "What can we do to stop businesses and organisations from stumbling because of inconsistent data?"

With their combined 25 years of experience, every client the founders had worked with, no matter the size, still had their business processes dependent on data they couldn't fully control. This would cause delays and increased costs.

Despite the increased availability of data, where were the IT solutions working to solve the problem?

Over beer and a curry, the future Eightwire founders discussed how they would fix this problem in an ideal world.

The goal was to create a system that was so easy, anybody could do it. It had to be fast, and smart enough to pick up and fix common errors. The idea was either a great one that no one had tackled, or a bad idea you would be crazy to follow.

The founders started planning and Eightwire's Conductor was born. The goal of creating simple, streamlined, secure data exchange was realised.

Eightwire now provides trustworthy data exchange for over 100+ public and private organisations, and continues to expand its data exchange offering, enabling greater connections across enterprise boundaries.
